If you’re thinking about hiring an IT company, you want someone you can trust to take care of you and keep your network running smoothly, rather than just waiting for things to break.
Hiring a managed IT company gives you much better IT support than the traditional Break/Fix approach. But how do you figure out what kind of managed IT plan you need to get the right level of support?
Like most IT companies, we have a range of managed IT plans to fit your IT needs. Let’s break down each one and how to choose the right plan for your business.
Our Managed IT Plans
At EZComputer, we have three tiers of IT service plans: Basic, Help Desk, and On-Site. It doesn’t matter which one you choose, we become your IT company on Day 1. We proactively monitor and maintain your network, all for a flat monthly fee.
Basic Plan
Our Basic Plan includes all the basic maintenance you need to keep your systems healthy, with monitoring during business hours.
The downside of our Basic Plan is that Labor to fix issues is not included. If you call us because you got a virus, or your email isn’t working, we’re still happy to fix it, but you’ll get a separate bill.
So our Basic Plan is best for businesses with only a couple computers who don’t need much support.
Help Desk Plan
Our next IT support plan is our Help Desk plan. This is a big step up from the Basic Plan because it includes unlimited remote support. That means any time you call, our techs can remotely log onto your computer to fix the problem, and you never have to worry about getting a bill.
On top of that, the Help Desk plan includes 24×7 monitoring, technology consulting, and vendor management, which takes additional load off your plate.
Our clients love this plan, because no matter what happens, they know we’ll fix it. They’re never hesitant to pick up the phone because they’re worried about getting a bill, and their employees don’t have the pressure of trying to troubleshoot problems internally.
On-Site Plan
Finally, we have our On-Site (IT Support) Plan. This includes everything in the Help Desk plan. The only difference is that all on-site support is also included.
While we can fix most IT issues remotely, some problems require physical, on-site help–like hardware issues, or diagnosing intricate network problems. If you have a larger, more complex network, this might be a good option.
Also, some of our clients simply prefer face-to-face support. Especially if technology isn’t your thing and you want in-person help, the On-Site Plan is for you.
Which IT Plan is Right for You?
No matter which IT plan you pick, we become the IT team that takes care of you from Day 1, which is way better than just waiting for things to break.
But the bottom line is that you have enough things to worry about during your day. Fixing computer problems shouldn’t be one of them. The right plan for you is the one that gives you peace of mind that your IT needs are taken care of, so you can focus on your business.
